I’m excited to announce that I’ve partnered with HarperCollins to publish Hugo’s Hair, the first tale of Hugo, releasing in August 2026. Creating a picture book felt like a very natural extension of the work I already make as an artist. I’ve always been drawn to humor, strange characters, bold visuals, and storytelling, and picture books felt like one of the best vehicles for sharing imagination with both kids and the adults reading alongside them. I’ve never separated picture books from my fine art practice, to me, they come from the same creative language and the same desire to create work that feels original, playful, and visually engaging.
