Skull & Brains #2 is the second piece in my ongoing Skull & Brains series, a limited collection built around one evolving character.
For the initial release, I created three versions of the same Skull, changing the details and color palettes to give each one its own distinct personality. The bright blue skull, exposed pink brain, uneven eyes, and single gold tooth give this first character a playful, slightly strange quality, balancing the familiar symbolism of a skull with the humor and graphic simplicity found throughout my work.
The series is designed to evolve gradually. The collection has started with three Skulls. Once the first three are collected, I will create and release the next three, allowing the collection to grow one character at a time. Although every work begins with the same recognizable Skull, no two versions will be identical, and sold designs will never be reprinted.
The collection will stop at 100.
